Lernziele
You'll learn the administrative fundamentals and how to design a successful installation of a virtualized Linux OS for SAP HANA database. Within the course, you'll learn how to install, configure and maintain the supported Linux distributions and VMware vSphere. All of that will be explained in order to perform the installation of the SAP HANA DB. Detailed preparation enables you to elaborate the necessary prerequisites of a virtualized operating system for the SAP HANA database. All preparation tasks are performed as practical exercises within the course. Best Practices are provided implementing an optimal SAP HANA Virtualization setup in a VMware vSphere environment.

This course is intended for system managers, administrators, technical IT staff, consultants and technical decision makers. The course provides the necessary Linux and VMware knowledge for SAP HANA DB implementation and operations. Participants will develop skills to implement, build and operate SAP HANA based on the SuSE or RedHat Linux distributions, which are supported by SAP.
