This course provides a deep dive into operating and optimizing SAP workloads on AWS. Participants will gain hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, security, networking, compute, storage, and monitoring—tailored specifically for SAP environments. The course also covers automation, high availability, backup and recovery, edge services, and cost management. Key tools and services include EC2, VPC, Systems Manager, CloudFormation, GuardDuty, and the AWS Launch Wizard for SAP.
Lernziele
This seminar provides fundamentals for SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA on AWS. Participants will learn in detail how to implement the basic infrastructure components such as virtual networks, virtual machines, storage, etc. for the installation and administration of SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA Systems on AWS Cloud. SAP Best Practices will be performed in individual lab environments, introducing the capabilities and limitations of SAP on AWS.

Voraussetzungen
For this course, basic knowledge of SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA taught in the courses ADM100 and HA200 is required.
In addition, a basic knowledge of Linux Systems (course AD660) as well as IP Networks is recommended.
